Motor vehicles other than those in categories D1 or D, with maximum mass over 3500 kg, but not exceeding 7500 kg, and designed and constructed for no more than 8 passengers plus driver

Age: 18 years

Entry documents: identity card, driving license, control card (if any), diploma minimum basic education – translated and legalized from Bulgarian ministry of education , photo (passport size).

*The applicant must have been a Bulgarian resident for at least 6 months.

Cars: IVECO ML 130 E; MERCEDES 1320

Curriculum:

Theoretical training: 14 hours; Driving school Vasilevi provides free learning materials for their customers.

The practical training is 20 hours. At a convenient time for the customer.

Duration: not less than 12 days

According to the new European directive, professional drivers of lorries and buses over 3.5 tonnes are required to follow a course of professional competence in addition to their driver’s license. This training is required in all countries of the European Union and Bulgarian maps are officially recognized in it.

Exceptions: qualification card driver is not required:

  1. When transporting passengers and cargo with vehicles with a maximum design speed not exceeding 45 km / h;
  2. When transporting passengers and cargo carried by the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, State Agency “National Security” state enterprises “Construction and Renovation”, “Transport Construction and Renovation” and “Communications Construction and recovery, ” related to the implementation of the legally defined their public tasks, as well as allied and / or foreign forces passing through the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria and staying on it;
  3. When transporting passengers and cargo in case of disasters, accidents and other emergencies;
  4. In case of vehicles used for the training of candidates for acquiring a license to drive a motor vehicle or qualification card driver;
  5. In case of vehicles undergoing road tests for technical development, repair or maintenance, or new or rebuilt vehicles which have not yet been placed on the market;
  6. When  driving vehicles used for personal use, non-commercial purpose;
  7. For driving vehicles carrying material or equipment necessary for the driver to carry out its main business.
